Dr. Hans-Peter Guellich is as independent investor, interim manager and strategic business consultant. Prior to his current engagement, Hans-Peter Guellich was the CEO and founder of Avanon AG, a leading vendor of a cross-industry IT solution for governance, risk and compliance management. In Oct. 2012 Avanon AG was acquired by Thomson Reuters GRC. Dr. Guellich joint Thomson Reuters as Global Head of Commercial Strategy-Risk.
Hans-Peter Guellich has German and Swiss citizenship. He studied Business Information Technology at the European Business School in Östrich-Winkel, at Regent’s College in London and at San Diego State University. He was awarded a Doctoral Degree from the Technical University of Chemnitz for his thesis „Development of a fuzzy-logic Expert System for Customer Credit-Scoring in Auto Finance“.
Dr. Hans-Peter Guellich professional experience spans over more than twenty years, most of which with consultancies, financial institutions and IT solution providers. He made significant contributions to the development of numerous risk management systems (credit and operational risk).
In his free time Hans-Peter Guellich is an active member of the Grasshopper Rowing Club in Zürich and participates in national and international master-level rowing events.
